(also called "DynDNS") for free.
The Dynamic DNS service allows fixed IP addresses that can be changed by
the user and thus in particular serves users running an own server at home
e.g. for FTP, streaming, cloud, web or other services. DynDNS allows to
assign a fixed hostname to a server which generally gets a
dynamic/changing IP address when connecting to the Internet (usually caused
by 24-hour forced separation of DSL connections).
Intervallic a Dynamic DNS client, which is installed on the
Internet-connected device, adjusts the current IP address with the stored
dynamic DNS address and thus keeps it up to date.
This adjustment combined with a short storage time of the dynamic host name
in the DNS system enables the user to access his own server at home at any
time and even external, despite of dynamic IP addresses.
