Hello,
Two new operating systems:
* Debian 7
* CentOS 7
specifically for Filer v4 server series with 3 or more plates and without hardware Raid Controller, are now available and can be installed via the customer panel.
Both OS are available as pre-configured Raid5 and Raid10 installations. You get a pre-installed Software Raid5 or a Software Raid10 when you select this operating systems without additional configuration. Other configurations are no longer necessary.
The following requirements are needed:
Software Raid10:
At least 4 hard disks or SSD's are used in the server.
Software Raid5:
At least 3 hard disks and SSD's are used in the server.
Compatible servers are currently:
* Filer L v4
* Filer XL v4
* Filer XXL v4
* Pro64 Flex, depending on HDD assembly
