Title: VNC-Installation for Fedora 22 available
Post by: katrinateuserv on July 07, 2015, 09:12:38 AM
Hello,

Fedora 22 is now available as a comfortable VNC installation for dedicated servers. As usual, the installation can be initiated via the customer panel.

With the VNC client (Virtual Network Computing) you can connect to the server and perform the installation step-by-step by using a wizard via a graphical interface. You can define your own partition scheme, use a pre-selection of the software to be installed and perform other custom settings.

In addition, a server role can be set during installation. This configures the server to use a dedicated task (mail servers, database servers, virtualization host, etc.).

We want to continue to take this opportunity to point out that Fedora 20 is in "End Of Life" status since 2015/06/23. The current Fedora 22 will be officially supplied with updates until one month after the release of Fedora 24.

kind regards,
Katrin
