2a02:180:6:1::4a8 is offline again. smokeping shows it stopped replying at Jan 8 2:40 UTC. Not responding to pings, http, or ssh. Control panel "Server Status" and "Server on/off" are both green (powered up).
mtr from a V2 free to the beta server 2a02:180:6:1::4a8 after it went offline :

I'm going to reboot it and see if it was running with no network.
Reboot ok, now I can log in again. From the log files, it was powered up with no network! The beta server was running mtr to an external server every 30 minutes, and you can see it had network access at 2:30 UTC, but not at 3:00 UTC or later:

So, is the beta test server losing network, or is the host the problem? Not sure how to tell.
Thoughts?

Hello,
this looks like a ressource issue of the VPS. Please check your services running. In most cases of too much RAM uses, the VPS will kill services randomly.

What makes you think it's running out of ram or killing services?
No evidence of hitting resource limits--no OOM messages in the log, munin ram graphs show 718 MB unused and a max of 210 MB active. This tells me ram isn't the problem. No log messages showing that any services were shut off. (There are log messages showing services couldn't access the network.)
Could it be a routing problem? Rebooting the VPS seems to fix it, so it seems unlikely. Unless rebooting the guest somehow alters routing on the host.
Everything I'm seeing so far looks like someone pulled the (virtual) network cable.
Just for fun, I'll log interface and memory stats along with the mtr. If the pattern holds, it should go offline in a few days and maybe we'll know more.
