As one of the first Hosting and Server Provider in Germany, EUserv offers the new Intel Xeon E3 processors in the brand new 6th generation of the Server Series "Prime64". The "Prime64 v6" Servers have a Supermicro 1HE chassis with HotSwap hard drives and a Supermicro server mainboard and are ideal for small to medium sized companies who need a dedicated server for their applications and do not want to have effort with additional work with the hardware.

All servers of the "Prime64 v6" series are equipped with DDR4 ECC RAM and have a LSI hardware RAID1 controller included that allows a zero downtime hot-swap hard disk replacement with subsequent data recovery. Next to the standard models with 2 TB and 4 TB hard drives, SSD models with 500GB and 1TB Samsung SSD's provide speeding advantages for applications with high I/O load.

Further Keyfeatures of the Prime64 v6 Server Series are:
========================================================
- 20 free Ipv4 adresses (max. 50 Ipv4 adresses available per Server)
- guaranteed 350 Mbit/s connection speed including Traffic Flatrate
- reliable bandwith with Cisco Layer2 and Layer3 Switches
- maximum availability with HotSwap hard drives
- automatic Raid1 Rebuild (with the corresponding configuration)
- 32 GByte USB Stick as an external storage medium included

3) Server News #3: New Operating Systems available in the customer panel

EUserv now provides the following operating systems for installation in the customer panel:

* Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with x2go for dedicated Servers
* Fedora 23 for dedicated Servers
* Plesk 12.5 for dedicated Servers and VPS

Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with x2go:
===========================
The free terminal server solution "x2go" is now available in the EUserv customer panel for all dedicated servers. x2go allows for several clients to connect to the server. The server, in turn, redirects all sound and graphics data to the connected clients (the traffic is encrypted with SSH).

Using this technique, the server can run graphical applications for instance, which are displayed over the client. Both GNOME and KDE are preinstalled as available desktops. The underlying system is a Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

Fedora23:
=========
Fedora Server 23 is now available for all dedicated servers and can be installed via the EUserv customer panel. The new release is available as minimal Image (Standard or RAID1) as well as VNC Install with graphical installation wizard.
Fedora 23 waives the introduced update tool "fedup" from the last release and integrates it´s functionality as plugin in the package manager "dnf".

The new release uses a kernel 4.2.0. Furthermore, the encryption standards RC4 and SSLv3 (classified as insecure) have been removed from the crypto libraries, so that appropriate applications must renounce these algorithms.
The management interface "Cockpit", introduced in Fedora 21, has also been updated and allows the dynamic management of storage and docker containers.

Plesk 12.5:
===========
The management platform Plesk 12.5 is now available for all dedicated servers and VPS and can be installed via the EUserv customer panel. The following distributions can be installed with Plesk 12.5:

– Debian 8 & Plesk 12.5
– CentOS 7 & Plesk 12.5
– Ubuntu 14.04 (LTS) & Plesk 12.5

The latest version comes with a redesigned user interface for administrators, which can now be adapted more better. In addition, new functions for database management have been integrated. The import and export of database backups is possible and databases can now easily be checked and repaired.

Another new feature is the view of all logs in real time. Plesk 12.5 now offers the possibility to create incremental backups, so memory can be saved and backups will be sped up.

Please note, that a license is required for Plesk 12.5, which can not be obtained via EUserv.
