2)  Webspace News: Important modifications regarding mail transfer

If you ordered an EUserv Hosting plan, two Email transfer facilities are
available:

Facility 1: Authenticated Email delivery via SMTP server
Facility 2: Not authenticated Email delivery via PHP-function 'mail()'

The new release of EUserv Webserversystem requires the compliance with
following certain requirements for not authenticated Email delivery via
PHP-function 'mail()':

Does the dispatcher ('FROM:') contain an Email-Alias of your Webspace? If
not, please change the dispatcher into an Email-Alias of your Webspace,
because only these are permitted.
Is the Email-Alias assigned to an Email-Account of your Webspace (Wildcard
entries are not permitted)? If not, please change Email-Alias accordingly
to an Email-Account of your Webspace, because only these are permitted.

For further information regarding eMail-Alias and eMail-Account please have
a look at EUserv Wiki:

3)  EUserv tips for practise: Working with IPv6 for dedicated servers

During past weeks EUserv customer panel was extended by several functions
regarding „IPv6-Addresses“ for dedicated servers. Depending on the
respective Server Plan the following Ipv6-features are now available via
customer panel:

   - Creating and managing Server Main-IPv6-Adsresses
   - Generating further IPv6-Addresses
   - Creating VMware compatible Mac-Addresses
   - Creating Reverse-DNS entries
   - Configuring and Managing additional Co-IPv6-Addresses
   - Creating and Managing IPv6-Nets

The following EUserv Wiki-Guide will explain in detail, how to setup and
work with the different Ipv6-Features on your dedicated server and what
should be considered: http://go.euserv.org/lO

4) Server News: Release of new Linux Rescue-System (Beta-Version)

Version 3 of the Linux Rescue System is now available in the customer panel
under the menu "Rescue-System" as beta version for all dedicated servers.
The v3 can still be started via the network and will replace the previous
Gentoo Linux based system. The new system operates on a slightly modified
CentOS6 platform and, like with the previous Rescue System, allows to work
on the server without using the system installed on the hard disk, e.g. for
debugging.

The most important advantage of the new system is that there is a usable
installation environment over "yum", i.e. Packages can be easily installed
afterwards. The Rescue System thus becomes significantly more flexible than
the previous one because additional repositories can also be integrated.

An overview what is new:
------------------------
- CentOS6 based Linux Rescue System
- Enhanced driver support for maximum hardware compatibility
- Enabled firewall (IPv4 and IPv6)
- Pre-configured IPv4 and IPv6 support
- Functional "yum" package manager
- Additional integration of repositories possible
- Support for 3ware and LSI hardware raid controllers
