Hello,
With the release of Parallels Plesk Panel 12, we provide two updated operating system images (with CentOS 6.5 or Debian 7.2 as base), installable via the customer panel in version Standard and RAID1.
Plesk 12 mainly launches features in the areas of mail, usability and safety. So Plesk 12 now offers protection against outbound spam and the the provided Dovecot supports server-based mail filtering. In addition, mail services can now be enabled or disabled domain based.
From a security point, Plesk 12 now offers support for Fail2ban and ModSecurity. The Apache-based firewal for Web applications is designed to protect customer websites against exploits and other security risks more effectively. The "WordPress Toolkit" should likely be attractive for Resellers - It allows the deployment and management of various WordPress installations on the respective customer webspace as well as ongoing security updates.
