Hello,
I need help accessing my dedicated server. The OS is installed and the server is online, but the panel has never released the root password. Here is the full history:
1. Initial order — Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (+RAID0)
The installation stayed on "installation in progress" for 4 days. During that time IPv4 never came up at all. The install never completed.
2. Reinstalls with RAID0 templates — IPv4 never comes up
I re-triggered the installation several times using RAID0 templates (Ubuntu 24.04 +RAID0 and Ubuntu 22.04 +RAID0). In every case the RAID0 install hangs: IPv4 stays down, the target OS never boots, and the panel stays on "installation in progress". So your RAID0 templates do not complete the installation on this machine.
3. No-RAID template — the OS installs and boots fine
When I install Ubuntu 24.04 LTS minimal with "No RAID", the installation succeeds: the server boots, IPv4 comes up, and SSH responds with the banner SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_9.6p1 Ubuntu-3ubuntu13.4 — confirming Ubuntu 24.04 is up and running. So the hardware is fine; only the RAID0 templates fail.
4. The real problem — keep-alive / provisioning never finishes, password never sent
Even with the OS installed and fully reachable, the provisioning never completes:
Your Live Monitoring shows: Power OK, Ping IPv4/IPv6 OK, SSH IPv4/IPv6 OK — but "Server sends keep-alive: Error / Service unavailable".
Because the keep-alive is not reporting, the panel stays on "installation in progress", the root password is never released, and the Rescue System is blocked by this status.
5. Payment
Payment is confirmed and received. I was told the server is activated but I cannot access my activated server, because the root password was never delivered and the panel is stuck.
My request:
Could a moderator/admin please manually finish the provisioning and send me the root credentials for srv30998, so I can finally access the server? The OS is installed and running — only the password delivery / keep-alive status is stuck. If the RAID0 templates are known to fail on this hardware, please advise and I will keep the working No-RAID install.
Thank you very much.
