1) Support News #1: New EUserv Android App update enables DNS Management of
Domains
With the latest update of EUserv´s Android App to version 1.3.6 the feature
for DNS management of Domains has been incorporated in addition to the
already in the last newsletter featured function "Activation Rescue Mode".
This feature allows the management of DNS functions of your EUserv Domain
similar to the Customer Panel (CP2). You can now create, modify or delete
DNS records for your Domain via the App.
Your benefits when using the function:
- you can create new DNS records for your Domain
- you can view, modify or delete the active DNS entries for your Domain
- you can check if your website is not accessible due to incorrect DNS
records
In order to use the App on your smartphone or tablet an Internet connection
and at least Android version 2.1. is necessary.
The App can be downloaded for free in the Google Play Store at the
following link:

Backup storage
With the latest update of EUserv´s Customer Panel, it is now possible to
integrate the FTP backup storage for your server or VPS, included in your
contract, additionally via CIFS/ Samba- protocol. With the CIFS protocol,
you can create your own local storage area for backups on your server. The
advantage is that you can arrange and manage your data like the data would
exist locally.
With CIFS, you can also:
- access files that are on the server in reading and writing
- share files with other clients by using special locks
- automatically restore connections in the event of a network failure
- use Unicode filenames
