5) Domain News: .DE-Domain price adjustment in plan "Domain Basic / Domain Lite" effective
November 1st, 2016
We hereby inform about an upcoming price adjustment for .DE-Domains
effective from November 1st, 2016.
As of due date EUserv will raise the price for .DE-Domains in the plan
"Domain Basic" / "Domain Lite" by 0.20 EUR per month.
Thus, the price for .DE domains in the mentioned plan will increase from
currently 0,29 EUR/month to 0.49 EUR/month.
The domain prices in plans "Domain Pro", "MailDomain Lite/Basic" and
"MailDomain Pro" will remain unchanged.
Why is this price adjustment necessary?
---------------------------------------
In their present form the plans "Domain Basic" / "Domain Lite" for .DE
domains are not longer economically efficient for EUserv because an
increasing complexity of the technical platform as well as a continuously
raising administration effort, regarding legal domain issues for example,
cause higher operating costs. We won't compensate these increased costs any
longer and decided to pass price adjustments to our customers
prospectively.
What does that mean for me?
---------------------------
Except the above mentioned price increase nothing will change for you.
Existing domain contracts that will be settled from November 1, 2016 the
billing will be subject to the new prices.
Already settled contracts won't be recalculated.
What happens, if I do not agree with the new price?
--------------------------------------------------
If you don't want to continue hosting your .DE-Domain by EUserv, please
cancel your contract via EUserv customer panel by October 31st, 2016 at the
latest, to avoid further billings. If you have any questions or need help,
please feel free to contact EUserv customer support.
