------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Special Offers: MailDomains with reduced Setup fee and Greylisting Support

Take advantage of the reduced setup fees of our MailDomain plans: For all new orders of a MailDomain plan you only pay a fraction of the usual setup fee. This also applies to domain transfers to EUserv in the existing MailDomain plans.

You already have a domain in a standard domain-plan (eg "Domain Basic" or "Domain Pro") and now want to also send emails with your domainname, or need mailboxes for different people sending mails with your domainname? So please go forward and use EUserv's control panel to upgrade your domain-plan to a maildomain-plan!

Proceed as follows:
1.) Log into the customer center.
2.) Select the domain contract that you want to change.
3.) Click on the left menu on "plan-change".
4.) Select a new plan "Maildomain Pro".
5.) Finish the change.

It takes about 24-48 hours until you can use the mailboxes and SMTP-mail function for sending mails.

Learn more about the MailDomain - functions:
With the latest update of EUserv's customer panel it is now possible to manage the Greylisting function for incoming emails to use your MailDomain plan more effective. All MailDomain and Web Hosting plans with email boxes are supported.

What is Greylisting?
When greylisting the first delivery of an incoming email by an unknown sender is rejected. A real mail server usually leads from a second delivery, which is then accepted. The following three parameters are stored for the Greylisting administration:

- sender address
- recipient's address or recipient domain
- IP address of the sending mail server

Advantages offered by the process are:

- less spam that must be processed by following filters
- the Greylisting only blocks junk mail, viruses, worms and Trojans
- normal emails will not be blocked and will not get lost

Greylisting is always active by default. The new customer panel function enables the shut down of the Greylisting - function in favor of a faster email delivery.

3) Support News: EUserv customer panel Upgrade with new server functions

The following functions have been implemented due to an upgrade of the EUserv customer panel:

* Setting reason for server webreset
If you perform a reboot via the customer panel, you have to specify the reason for the reboot immediately. The reason is recorded in our database and will be regularly analyzed for all customers and server series. Aim is to further improve the stability and availability of the server hardware and services.

Selectable reasons are:
1. Maintenance (planned)
2. Server is not responding
3. Other (free text)

This new feature is available for all dedicated servers.

---
* Global Postinstall Script
When using the function "Postinstall Scripts", a script can now be marked as "global", so that the script is visible in all server contracts that support Postinstall Scripts. To display the script status a column "Global" has been added to the Postinstall Script table.

The advantage is that a script, for example from contract 123, also can be used as a script for installing servers in contract 234 or 235 under the same customer ID. The script has to be created only once and thereby facilitates the administrator's work.

This feature is available for the server series "Prime64", "Pro64", "Filer", "Filer Pro" and "Pro64 Flex".

---
* Copy function for Postinstall Scripts
The Postinstall Script copy function makes it possible to copy any script. This can be used to copy, for example, a global script from another server contract to the current server contract.

It is thereby possible to copy a script, to edit it and to save it under a new name. The original script remains intact. This can be used, if you want to create multiple scripts that are similar but require adjusted changes on a contract or application.

This feature is available for the server series "Prime64", "Pro64", "Filer", "Filer Pro" and "Pro64 Flex".

If any of these functions are not visible in the customer panel, please contact the support.
