Debian 8 + ISPconfig for dedicated servers
« on: June 10, 2015, 10:11:38 AM »

Debian 8.0 (Jessie) with ISPconfig is now available for all dedicated servers and can be installed via the EUserv customer panel. Besides the standard version, we also offer a RAID1 version for increased data security.

"Jessie" comes with features like the switch to systemd as init system by default, updates for MySQL (5.5.42) or MariaDB (10.0.16), the GNU compiler in version 4.9.2, Perl 5.20.2 and the Linux kernel in version 3.16.

With ISPConfig, servers or services like http, ftp, Bind, Mail, POP3/ IMAP, MySQL, firewall can be configured and administered via a web-based interface.

A distinction is made of four layers: one is for server administrators to manage servers, webspace, resellers and customers; one level for providers/ reseller for the management of web space, customers and web space; one level for customers for the administration of web space, subdomains and e-mail accounts as well as the users of e-mail accounts.

kind regards,
