Update: Use your own name servers for domain names
« on: January 11, 2017, 11:16:38 AM »

Hello,

As announced in January, the functionality for entering your own name servers for domains is now available in the customer panel.
Please note, that this feature is still in beta status, means minor errors or processing delays may occur.

kind regards,
Katrin

Hello List Members,

In the past few months some customer requests have been received. We would like to thank you for this.

As always, we carefully examine every customer request and consider whether it is technically and commercially worthwhile to realize the wish. One of the most wanted features was the use of your own name servers for domain names, which we are currently developing for you.

In the upcoming weeks, EUserv will expand it´s customer panel with a new module for the administration of own name servers for domains. This module allows you to specify at least two separate (external name servers) for a domain managed by EUserv.

These name servers are entered directly at the registry responsible for the domain transmission. After you have registered, you can manage the DNS zone for your domain completely on your own or have it managed by another provider. If you want to use features that EUserv currently does not offer, you can still use them with own name servers and still register the domain at EUserv.

The module will be integrated free of charge into the domain plan "Domain Pro" and is expected to be available at the end of January 2017. In the customer panel, the left menu will automatically be expanded after selecting the contract. As soon as the function is available, we will inform you again.

kind regards,
Katrin
