Please start the reinstall again. If this additional reinstall does not finish, I will care about that.

Kind regards

Where is the IPv6 functionality you speak about? :)

Thank you. We have added the missing AAAA Record.

access the website that only provides IPv4, such as GitHub
Lynx browser and many other programmes obey such environment variables as FTP_PROXY, HTTP_PROXY and HTTPS_PROXY. So, you just need some proxy on a dual stack (IPv4+IPv6) host. If you want to use a proxy for IPv4 addresses only, install locally (at [::1] aka some HTTP proxy, such as tinyproxy (sudo apt-get install tinyproxy) and configure it (/etc/tinyproxy/tinyproxy.conf) to access IPv6 addresses directly but IPv4 addresses via another proxy.

If you do not reach a service, please contact the admin of the service to remind him to add IPv6 functionality.
You are right! But:
Code: [Select]
$ khost has IPv4 address
Host has no AAAA record
Host has no MX record
Where is the IPv6 functionality you speak about? :)

I have a free VPS with Debian10.0-64bit-minimal here. It works, thank you.

But messages which are supposed to appear in journalctl, do not appear in it. And when I try to use dmesg (N.B.: as root), I see it is not permitted to me.

Code: [Select]
$ sudo nft list chain inet filter input | grep Invalid
counter packets 81 bytes 6687 log prefix "Invalid-Input: " level debug
$ journalctl | grep -c Invalid
$ journalctl | wc -l
$ sudo dmesg | grep -c Invalid
dmesg: read kernel buffer failed: Operation not permitted
$ sudo dmesg | wc -l
dmesg: read kernel buffer failed: Operation not permitted

On a KVM VPS at another company and at my home computer (both with Debian 10 "Buster" 64bit) all of it works fine.

Is the described problem a limitation of OpenVZ?

I tried to reinstall my VPS for several times, but the reinstallation can never finish.

Can you please check it? It is currently in reinstalling state since 2020-05-10 21:19:13.

Thank you!

Edit: The installation has finished now

if there is an active suspension of the service, we will notice the customer for his contract i.e. in case of Abuse, Renewals or similar.

If your server is a VS2free there are some nodes with heavy load during this hard times i.e. for video conferencing or such stuff. May there was an overload that killed some task. I dont know it but I am sorry about that. We already working to improve the service day by day.

I noticed my VS2 free server wasn't replying to pings and my ssh connections had disconnected. Day or so later I logged into the serverdata section to see what was up--all green. Huh, that's weird. The control panel or host didn't realize the guest VPS was offline/down. Traffic graphs in the control panel are also flat for the last day or so.

Went ahead and hit the reboot page and now the server is back online and normal again. Looking through the logs on the guest VPS, last entry is about May 13 16:04 UTC, which matches the smokeping data (image attached). Nothing in the logs to indicate a crash or violent shutdown--it's like the guest just suspended. (Sorry, I didn't think to run an mtr trace before I rebooted.)

Anyway, I'm thankful for the free VPS, no complaints there!
